Darrick is a graduate of Maryville College and the Washington University School of Law.

Darrick began his career in Knoxville, Tennessee, with the firm of Hagood Moody Hodge PLC. Darrick practiced for five years with Hagood Moody Hodge, focusing on family law, personal injury and criminal defense.  Darrick remains of counsel with the firm. 

In 2022, Darrick founded Edmondson & Edmondson in Union County, Tennessee, to provide a wide array of personalized legal services for rural East Tennesseans. Darrick primarily practices in family law, divorce, estate administration (probate), and personal injury. He also accepts representation for select real estate and criminal defense matters. 

Darrick chiefly accepts cases in Union, Knox, Anderson, Blount, Campbell, Claiborne, Grainger, Sevier and Scott Counties.  Darrick has served as the Municipal Judge for Plainview, Tennessee and is the current Municipal Judge for the city of Maynardville, Tennessee.
